NEW WOMEN’S RECOVERY SUPPORT GROUP IS FORMED IN [Location] . Women from various 12-Step recovery groups have formed a new group that encourages recovery from any addiction or self-abusive behavior. The group focuses on healing the conditions that underlie all addictive and obsessive-compulsive behaviors as outlined by the founders of Alcoholics Anonymous. These conditions include spirit disconnection and devaluation of the individual self. The Group focuses on the 12 Steps as a spiritually based, systematic therapeutic process for healing wounds from earlier experiences and losses through ordinary and extraordinary life experiences. Any woman seeking serenity is welcome to attend. Should she be suffering from addictions of any kind, she will be directed to whatever 12-Step program is most appropriate for treatment of her immediate problem.
